35mm in the Contemporary

This is my first analogue photograph series, These works are heavily thought out and intimately taken. Analogue photography is something which fascinates me heavily as my graduating major from art school is photomedia. Although I am horrible at working the dark room I still like doing the shooting. I take great pleasure and excitement in working in a medium and form of photography which can be considered an experiment.

What I love most is that the analogue camera operated under a specific function, which is to document, however in the contemporary age of fine art photography, the analogue finds itself in nostalgia, it has a special aesthetic and when you combine that with contemporary subject matter and a modern setting, what you document has an aesthetic which is stuck in time but moves forward at the same time.
This series explores the documentation of the modern age using old tools.
