Here is some information about how I charge, the services I provide.

From May 7th 2023 the following changes in service are:
*All rates listed in my price list under all categories are exclusive of GST*
- You will Receive two invoices after being quoted and confirming your job
(one for the deposit + one for the remaining balance.)
GST will be +10% on top of listed prices (shown in invoice)
In packages- 10% GST will be written next to the price
(Price+ $10% GST) as a breakdown
NOTE* I also take jobs on Airtasker my rates aren’t applicable on that platform as I work according to the pricing on that platform
Photography Services
I do not own a studio or lease my own studio so if an outsourced studio session is required (due to size of job)I will need to charge the cost of the rental fee as part of the invoice unless you book your own and I arrive on the job.
•Invoicing/ Deposits
A non refundable deposit will be charged for all day shoots. (Refer above)
I charge this deposit to reserve the date and time for the client and do not take any reservations for your slot due to the deposit being paid. In the event of a cancellation all money paid in a deposit will be retained by me in order to offset loss of business.
I can also take cash payment at a cheaper rate than advertised (preferred)
Please note this is not my day job- I work this on the side of being a multimedia technician and do not operate full time.

Food Photography Package 1- $550
(500+ $50 GST )
This package will include photographs of 5 menu items and 5 beverages. (All shot at different angles)
-Subject also will be styled

Max time required to shoot this should be around 4
Food Photography Package 2-
This package will include
Maternity Portraits- $605
( $550 + $55 GST)
This package will include 20 Photos (edited)
Editing fee inclusive in price
Up to a max of 3 hours of shooting + prep
My Gift to you-
Complimentary portraits shot by professional grade 35mm film SLR camera developed and digitised for your special memory.
(No Extra Charge for this, all costs associated with this waived - Usually costs extra)
However Printing costs extra.
(Please note any studio hire done through me will cost you extra unless you book yourself.)
Pre-Wedding Package- $440
($400 + $40 GST)
A shoot at a location of your choice (within safety and distance reasoning) before you and your special someone get hitched.
This package will include 20 edited photos
up to a max of 3 hours of shooting max

Terms and Conditions- Photography
These terms and conditions can be varied at any time, with or without notice to you. You must be read in Conjunction with these terms and conditions.
All pictures taken are my intellectual and creative and artistic property. Photo credit must be given if for business related posts (Photographed by Geoffrey Huang) or add handle @geoffshoots
You must not redistribute the work as stock images or sell this image for profit without my consent and I can use all the photos I have taken as images for my portfolio. I will pursue legal action if you violate my creative intellectual property rights.
Unless the work for marketing purposes all commercial photographs shot by me must not be used as such or for profit.
A 15% NON REFUNDABLE deposit must be paid to secure the appointment rest to be paid upon completion of job.
I reserved the right to charge a non-refundable deposit as I reserve the time and date for the paying client and in the event of a cancellation it helps offsets the costs for loss of business.
In the event of the job criteria being changed by a client I reserve the right to be able to adjust pricing to match the labour.

2. Artist/ Art Student Package Offer.
(Also Eligible for Fashion Students)
For fine art related commercial photography (documentary) I offer an Artist/Art student Package special to support my fellow fine artists and art students. I know first hand how tough it can be and I hope this concession helps makes being an artist easier! This package exists to provide photography services for artists to shoot professional quality shots of their body of works, studio spaces and profile photos for your artist and art gallery catalogues.
This offer is available only to practicing artists, students taking a higher education fine arts course or visual arts course at a recognised art school, tertiary institution or TAFE (trade school)*
*PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT OFFERING THIS PACKAGE
Rate:
For the Artist package, each job is divided into 2 categories:
Practicing artist: $385
($280+ $70 editing fee for 3 hours worth of shooting and editing
+ $35 GST )
Extra time: $100 per hour ever
(70+$30 editing fee for every hour over the 3 hour shoot time +$10 GST)
Art Student + Fashion student:
$230+ $50 editing fee for 3 hours worth of shooting and editing.+ $28 GST
Extra time:
+$30+ $20 editing fee every hour over the 3 hour shoot time + $5 GST
From May 7th 2023- These prices will be GST exclusive.*
Each package includes:
- Portrait shots and shots of the artist in their studio space for catalogues
- high quality professional documentation of your work.
optional (no extra cost):
- Shots of your studio space for your catalogue or website, magazine feature etc.
*Please be aware that any extras (studio hire)will be added on top of the flat rate and are not included
*Please note on all photoshoots (including the Artist Package Concession Offer) deposits are still required when undertaking my services.
Terms and Conditions - Artist Package
These terms and conditions can be varied at any time, with or without notice to you. You must be read in Conjunction with these terms and conditions.
All photographs of said documented artworks must have a photo credit (Photographed by: Geoffrey Huang+ my IG handle @geoffshoots) All photos are intellectual, artistic and creative property of Geoffrey Huang and is protected by copyright. The work is not to redistributed for profit (from a publisher unless with my written consent) as it is only intended for use by the artist for marketing use.
For all Artist Package Offers a 10% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of the quoted price (editing fee excluded unless discussed as part of initial quote) must be paid to book in the shoot and the remaining paid upon completion of the job.
To be eligible for this concession you must either provide at least one of these forms of identification proof of practice/ enrolment in an arts course:
-Valid Student ID- As proof of enrolment if you a student in a recognised institution such as an art school or tertiary institution that provides a fine art course.
- A CV and Portfolio of your work. If you are a practicing artist.- A body of work that is yours or belonging to or a written document from the known artist (if you are booking a job on behalf of the artist).

4. Second Shooter Service
I also offer a second shooter service, commencing from 2024. There are certain genres I have never worked yet and would love to get experience second shooting or sometimes just take the backseat second shooting.
Rates:
$50 per hour + GST
I will only take raw files and request I get to use 5 images as a sample batch for my portfolio. -not compulsory but you would be helping me if I am able to do this.
